"I use this to string necklaces, using 11/0 and larger Toho & Miyuki beads, plus lightweight beads I make by hand. Not sure how Wildfire would work with heavy beads. Drapes nicely, seems really strong; knots and glues easily. Have successfully used it in conjunction w/ teeny 1.8mm silver crimp beads. Can thread it onto a big eye needle and pass up to three thicknesses thru 11/0 beads (have not tried more than that). I prefer it to Beadalon 0.012 inch beading wire because i can thread it onto a needle. Have never used Fireline, so I can't compare it to that--other than to say it's cheaper.

I do wish Wildfire came in 100 yard spools. Usually black is a Good Thing, but once in awhile I wish it also came in white, for translucent beads."
