Ring Mandrel
This convenient ring mandrel is a quick and easy way to determine the size of a ring you have on hand or one you are planning to embellish. To determine the ring size, simply slide the ring over the mandrel and check where the ring rests. This tool is wonderful to have on hand, especially if you are creating your own rings with wire or beads. It is made of plastic and features a handle at the end to make it easy to hold. A metal loop allows you to hang it up when not in use. Feel free to browse the rest of our tools and supplies.

"I want to make a wire mood ring, but I don't want to make a *lot* of wire rings. I needed an inexpensive mandrel, and this fit the bill. It's very lightweight, with ring sizes from 1 to 15 (including half-sizes). I used my wedding ring to check the size, and it matched exactly.
Inexpensive, lightweight, well-made: I definitely recommend this as a beginning mandrel."

"You can't beat the price of this mandrel. It does get the job done compared to the metal, more expense mandrels. This is a good mandrel for starting out making rings....eventually you may want to work up to the metal mandrels if you're a serious metalsmith.
But, you can't complain about the price and the utilization for making wrapped wire rings."

"I couldn't find a good ring mandrel within 25 miles of my home. This is the best ring mandrel I've seen. The design of it makes it easy to use for one person because of the padded handle. Other design's would slip when you worked with the wire."

"This is plastic which isn't a problem. There are more expensive metal ones that are 6 times the cost. Why pay more when you can get something that gets the job done? Very easy to use and has a loop on the end for hanging on a hook."
