"I haven't knotted pearls in over 10 years so I wasn't looking forward to hand knotting some pearls I just purchased.
I bought the beadknotter and read their instructions, I didn't find them as clear as I needed so I grabbed a few other knotting tool instructions from the internet to round out the mechanics of the process. I practiced knotting a length of 7 pearls using the tool.
I was astonished at the ease of knotting a pearl necklace with it! . I finished a 24" strand of pearls in no time.
The tool is much easier to use than any of the instructions show.
I highly recommend the Beadknotter for pearls. I can hardly wait to get some gemstones to use it on.

"I'm not sure where I ended up getting this knotting tool but I highly recommend it! I pull my string tight before releasing the lever to be sure the knot is tight against the bead. Sometimes I put a band-aid on my pointer finger used to tug on the string as after repeated use it can get a little sore. But like I said, I like my knots nice and tight, close to the bead. This tool is a must have for that reason!!!"

Pros: Price, Quality, Size
Cons: some getting used to
"You can apply your skills to making small knots or you can let technology help you. If you're serious about pearl necklaces or working with silk strings, you will need this. It takes some getting used to but the investment is worth it."

"After a brief learning curve, making professional hand-knotted endless strands is easy and addictive. If the included instructions are not clear enough, Beadalon has some helpful videos on YouTube."

"I took a pearl knotting class at a local bead store using the knotting tool. During the class I learned the technique of using it but it took some hours of practice when I got home to master the technique. You do need some patience when it comes to pearl knotting. At first it seems like you're all thumbs but as you work with it a bit, you will develop the technique. It does get easier the more you do it."

"I purchased this tool through my local bead store for a lot more money but regardless it was awful. It is cumbersome and the knots are not consistently close to the beads or pearls"
