"I am a beginner beader and found this tool to be extremely helpful in making consistent size loops. Purchased it on sale which was even better! The only downsize is that it does not contain any instructions of use. Had to search on line for a tutorial."

Even better than I expected

"Over the last couple of years I have been trying to improve my ability to make loops of different sizes for different beads and pieces of jewelry. I had heard about these pliers which actually have 3 grooves rather than the "one" groove described (I did email Artbeads to confirm this prior to my purchase). At first I thought I would be disappointed in "only" having the three grooves rather than more -- for more options of loop sizes -- however, so far that has not been a problem. I am really enjoying the ability to make the more consistent loops that result from using this tool -- it is also better than marking my round nose pliers with a desired position because that method still leaves room for variation."

"Pros: These are well made and make consistent loops. The loops also seem to stay in the same plane better but that might be because I've had to change the way I make loops (see below).
Cons: It would have been nice if Eurotools provided wire lengths to use with the appropriate groove and which method works best with these pliers. It's taken a lot of trial and error to get the right length of wire (3/8 inch for the middle groove).
Also, the groove closest to the tip is way too small and the groove closest to the handle is a bit big. The middle groove is a little on the small side but makes loops the size of what you see on eye pins. A groove better the middle one and the one closest to the handle would have been nice.
I've had to change the way I make my loops. Before, I would bend the wire at a 90 degree angle first. With these pliers, I get better loops if I make a P-shaped loop first and then kink the loop backward to center it. The problem with this technique, at least for me, is that there is too much play (the beads aren't tight up against the loops.
The jury is still out on how useful these pliers will be."

"I bought 2 pairs of this tool (one for me and one for a gift). There were no instructions on how to use it. I couldn't find any tutorials on your site either. I am practicing with it but don't know if I'm using it correctly so I can't tell you what I really think."

"I love the Groovy Looping Pliers!
They make it easy to keep loops the same size. Feel good in my hand with a "just right" fit. I created this endless necklace with them and although I still need to practice getting my wire the right length, I think it turned out nice."

"Just love the grove pliers. As a new person to wire bending I find it hard to keep the wire were I want it as I bend, twist and roll the wire around. With my new pliers it is a breeze. No slippage at all And when doing a repeat piece there is no guessing about were to grip the wire. Before I had to add a marker on the nose to get the same size turn.Now it is just a place in the grove and GO."

"I am still mastering getting a centered loop with these things, but even off-center the loops are all consistent in size and easy to bend to center. This tool has great versatility. And can I just admit that one of the reasons I bought them is that I love saying that I'm using my "Groovy Loopers"? I'm proof you don't have to be all that mature to bead... ;)"

"They really work very well, and they are much better than my basic looping pliers. I do not regret my purchase at all! They provide notches which allow you to replicate the same loop over and over, great for a professional look. I think my designs look ten times better since I've been using these pliers!"
