Creation: embellished a celtic embroidery
"I designed and embroidered a five-inch square Celtic-style piece, colored cotton threads on light brown linen. And framed for hanging. It has a rustic medieval look, and I wanted a small and not-too-showy accent for the center of the design. The small silver cross worked perfectly. It adds just the right amount of shine. Its size and shape made it possible for me to hold it in place with my left thumb while I sewed the bead onto the fabric with my right hand. Some beads are difficult to hang on to and keep where you want them, when sewing onto fabric. This small silver cross will stay flat for you."
