"Great to use if you are using 20 ga wire.These beads can slip off 24 ga headpins if used on the bottom when making earrings because sometimes the headpin bases varies. I do prefer the small hole SS beads but will use these in other projects."

"These are especially useful when the problem of using a bead with a slightly larger hole and slipping off the headpin occurs. They're great little roadblocks. They're useful as spacers as well."

"I have consistantly purchased this size and type of sterling silver beads from the company for the simple reason that they are a "QUALITY" product and do not crack or break. They withstand the weight of beads next to them without losing their shape. The "hole" size allows me enough room to double back through it with ease with my type of stringing wire used. "I use this size bead a lot at the end of a necklace or bracelet design. I usually space them before and after the crimp beads, and in between the crimp beads, because once I put on the crimp bead cover they blend right into the piece of jewelry."

"I use these all the time on either side of crimps when stringing necklaces or bracelets. Be sure and get these ones with the large holes if you will be running your wire back through to crimp it!"

The hole is too big for .21 headpins

"I bought these to use at the bottom of headpins and wrongly assumed that such a small bead would have a proportionately small hole through it - WRONG. I bought 100 of them and cannot use them on my .21 gauge, easy to bend headpins.
They are a great quality otherwise, but be aware, If you want cute little beads for your cute little headpins, these arenít it."
