"Oval jump rings are so much better than round ones. I don't have to worry about them staying closed as I do with round jump rings. I also like the way they look; adding just a bit of interest in the design."

"Jump rings are usually utilitarian--but this one is beautiful--very much showcased in an earring drop design. The oval jump ring is hooked directly to the earwire and headpin-mounted dangles hang from it. I love it!"

"I use these a lot when attaching very thick rings to much thinner rings. The oval shape allows you to get a closer fit around the large ring while still leaving room to attach the smaller ring."

"I began using SS oval jump rings when I couldn't locate enough 6mm SS split rings. When I read about the ovals, it makes sense that they don't open like the round rings do because they join on the side. Nice, even, shiney. :)"
