"These are perfect to extend an earring of something that will not get much abuse. Not too good for a bracelet as they are a little lighter weight. I prefer the next size up which is 20 gauge.."

"Oval jumprings are great for jewellery because unlike round ones, you have less risk of the two items you are joining finding the open seam and coming loose. This jumpring is a perfect guage for combining a delicate feel with strength."
