Pros: very pretty but not too strong

Cons: does not hold multi-strand bracelet

Creation: multi-strand pearl bracelet (artbeads design)

"Got this to make a pearl bracelet (artbeads design); got ALL components as suggested, but this clasp just does not hold. I think sterling is too soft, especially for so many strands. I kept squeezing it tight, but it would always ultimately open on its own, in no time flat.
Not recommended.
Probably SP would work better for a heavy bracelet. Maybe if safety side hooks had been added, it would help for security if sterling must be used!
Unfortunately this is what was recommended for the design on this site! The components, which included real, large colored pearls and SS, were too expensive to risk losing...so the bracelet has been sitting for quite awhile.

I'm going to try replacing this with the magnetized cone-in-cone clasp which seems a lot more secure and stronger."
