"The plain French hook ear wires are beautiful and I love that they are plain, not detracting at all from the other earring components. Lightweight and comfortable, they also are secure; no problem with losing an earring when you wear these wires."

"These ear wires are too thin and flimsy. The end wire is too long and hits your neck. They look like a cheap alternative to the real thing. I would never buy them again. I love SS-EAR02. They are my favorite. They are the best quality for the price and hold up well."

"The wire is far too long and pokes into your neck. The wire is also quite flimsy. I wouldn't put any heavy beads on any earrings I make with these. The wires also bend very easily, even if you're handling them with your fingers."

Creation: inexpensive earrings for craft shows
"The price was low and the product was more than fair for the price. it is after all sterling, and adequate for an inexpensive production line of earrings. The ear wire is very light weight and I found I had to manually tighten the loop on most of them. I much prefer another product but they have been out of stock for months. Next time, if my preference is still out of stock I think I will upgrade ...will not order these again."

Cons: possibly fragile; i prefer 20 gauge for ear wires.
"I have not ordered these ear wires yet, but I will be. They look very nice. I have been buying very cheap wires, about 5 cents each, for some time. They are all getting discolored and don't look nice. I want to give earrings as gifts and also try to sell them and I would be embarrassed to give/sell a substandard product. I know I will be placing an order in the next few days. Re: the comment that they are too long: Cut off some of the length and file smooth. Then they should be fine. :) I appreciate everyone's comments! Very helpful to me!"
