1.2mm Sterling Silver Fancy Crimp End Cap with Loop
This crimp end is designed so that only the middle section is crimped. Use the very ends of your chain nose pliers to do this. It fits up to .024 stringing material. Anti-tarnish treated. "I should be more careful when ordering in double checking the size of the item I order. This is a perfectly fine crimp, but it's so small. I finally found some leather that I can use this crimp with, but I haven't decided on a project yet to make with it. I wish the description could be somehow clearer about sizes. Millimeters don't always register for me."

"I made a pair of earrings using these Sterling Silver Crimp Ends. I ran a fine wire through a pearshaped crystal, up into the crimp end and added a drop of glue. I use these ends on more delicate bracelets and necklaces."

"I enjoy using this style of ends for my jewelry. I used this in my review of the beaded chain. However, when I crimped the middle 4 of the ones I used cracked right above the middle where the loop is.
I was disappointed in the appearence and heaviness look of the item. Now, I could have crimped too tight, also,I wonder if the end piece was too large for the chain size. It was displayed on the same page as the chain. I assumed it was meant to work with the chain. Still a happy customer of ABs Geri"

"These crimp ends are a great way to finish a necklace. I used this crimp end with Sterling 040 Boston Link Chain and it worked perfectly. I added a little E6000 glue inside the barrel using a head pin to ensure security then inserted the chain and gently crimped it around. This crip end is well made and shiny. Highly recommended."

"I love using these SS caps. I had several old serpentine silver chains that had broken over the years. I cleaned them up, used these end caps, and put two broken ones together to make a long neck chain for a Swarovski pendant. With the short pices of chain, I used the end caps on one end and glued a Swarovski bead onto the other, and made some gorgeous earrings to match the pendant. What a find! I've never had any problems what-so-ever with them. I use a round-nose plier to gently crimp the middle."

"I bought 10 of these to use with the .5mm beading chain on this website, and have used 6 so far. Of the 6, one broke (the bottom ring detached), but it was still usable.
I think the key to these is not expecting it to crimp in one squeeze. If you squeeze too hard and too fast with your pliers, it can break. I've had success using round nose pliers to start the crimp, and then flattening it with chain or flat nose pliers. This takes me around 6 squeezes on each side, while gradually increasing pressure."

"Im not sure how to use these... I got them a while ago but im not sure if i can use them on jewelry wire or if I had to use leather...I dont use leather..so I didnt want to waste them figuring it out. Can anyone awnswer? They sure look nice...LOL"

These Fancy Crimp Ends are designed to be used with Jewelry Wire up to .024 diameter. To crimp these you use chain nose pliers, and pinch the middle section closed on one side, then turn to the other side and pinch it closed the same way. We hope this helps!

"These are not worth the money, I purchased 10 to see if they would be better and of the 10, 7 broke in half while trying to crimp. I was not using hardly any pressure to crimp with my needle nose pliers. The last 3 of the 10 stayed inside the crimp for 1 hour before they fell out."
