"When I use pricey gemstones in some of my pieces, using sterling chain would make the price go through the roof. This shiny silver plated chain is my goto-alternative for when sterling isn't a smart option. It is very strong, doesn't stretch (as of yet), hasn't tarnished (I'm carfeul with how I store all my silver), and never breaks. Check out my photo; this chain supports this giant slab of jade which is very very heavy. nice!"

"I use this chain as an extender on my necklaces with S-hook clasps. Although the chain is lightweight and made from a thin gauge, the links are soldered--thus adding strength. The size of the links will accommodate most, if not all, S-hook clasps. And to top it off, the chain is made in the USA! (I buy only U.S.-made metal components.)"
