6mm Silver-Plated Magnetic Clasp (Mag-Lok)
Great for bracelets and light necklaces, these magnetic clasps are very powerful, self-aligning, and well manufactured (NO glue assembly). They are especially good for people who have difficulty with normal clasps. It is easy to attach to a necklace or bracelet using jump rings strung through the loop in each side of the clasp. You will be amazed by how well these hold together. NOTE: Magnetic clasps should not be used with a pacemaker. "these clasps look so nice and are so easy to use that they were all i wanted to use for my bracelets. now i've lost two, one minute it's there and the next it's not. the magnets do seem strong so i don't know whats happening. one had wire loops that may have gotten caught on a sweater but the other was a straight pearl and crystal strand. now i;m scared to wear the others. will try to add a safety chain which may defeat the purpose of ease of use."

"I didn't want to spend $8 on a clasp and these were the cheapest I could find. A friend gave me some from a chain craft store that I hadn't thought of going to. I'm glad I didn't. These clasps are much better. The silver finish is good quality and the magnetic hold is very strong. The craft store clasp pops off when I bend my wrist, but these hold tight!"

"I have used other brands of magnets for my bracelets, but the silver finish wears off quickly and leaves an ugly brown color. I didn't want to do that to my customers! But I have worn the same MagLok magnet on a bracelet day & night for over two years now, and it still looks great! I always use the wire guards in sterling silver and a 2.25 inch safety chain also in sterling, because any other metal sticks to the magnets!

"This magnetic clasp is super strong and is ideal for persons with disabilities. The clasp virtually connects by itself! I made a bracelet for my mother-in-law who is 83 yrs old. "I've bought and used both the silver and gold-toned magnetic clasps. They are quite strong and perfect for bracelets rather than struggling to attach a clasp with one hand. Plus it's small enough to blend in nicely without being bulky. Can be a little frustrating to work with since the magnet wants to attach to the pliers and any other metal findings on your jewelry. I also recommending using the little wire guards because of the sharp edges when threading your wire. Overall, though, this is a great product."

"I love these! Despite its small size, the magnet is very strong. I use them frequently when I want a clasp that is secure yet discreet. One word of advice - if you are sewing your clasp to your jewelry piece, put a small bead (size 11) on each side of the the loop or use a thread guard because the edges can cut thread over time."
