"This is a sturdy earwire that has the loop facing outwards, instead of being set perpendicularly. This adds another visual element - a loop AND a ball, and the wire felt too rigid to risk repositioning it. I bought them to make evening earrings but the loop changed the look sufficiently that I used an alternative.
