Excellent for original artwork display
Date:March 20, 2011
Pros: Size, Quality, Color
"I use both this frame and the lighter silver-tone for my original artwork. I place in my piece of canvas or heavy paper, seal with a decoupage glue, and then finish with Ice Resin epoxy. I love that the well is deep enough and the frame simple enough to place the focus on the picture within the frame. The scroll work is lovely and of course, if your picture completely fits the opening, you won't be able to see the scroll work. If you truly want to take advantage of this design, use "pieces" like rhinestones and the like to incorporate into the scrollwork that already exists. Otherwise, think of the scroll as a special treat for you (the artist) that will forever lie beneath your own design ;)"

Pros: Price
"I am returning these and also other picture frame charms that I purchased not having been able to view the back (and assuming the scroll design visible on the front was the same on the back: it's not). Also disappointing were the rhodium frames: the pattern resembles a sneaker or a tire tread more than anything else. The higher end frame charms are very nice: definitely worth purchasing the ss or vermeil versions. These, not so much."

Great except for the back
Date:May 10, 2010
Pros: Quality, Size, Ease of Use
Cons: poor design on back
Other beading styles or techniques: stringing & wire work
Creation: jewlery & miscellaneous
"I really like the size & weight of this charm but too bad the inside detail (swirl design) is not on the back. Instead there are squiggle markings with engraved initials. Not really sure why the swirl design is on the front when it will just get covered up!"
