"These freshwater pearls are consistent in quality and size as the many freshwater, head drilled pearls that I have previously ordered from Artbeads. No complaints there -- but... the color was more "mauve" than the "violet" described in the photo and text, which was a little disappointing."

"As previous reviewer said, they are more violet/grey and it is a in between color that would look brighter if mixed with dark colors and appears darker if mixed with pale colors.
Fairly constistent in size. Love the fact that they are top drilled.

"Quality, size, shape all are excellent. The color is more grey then violet, however, it looks very natural. I used with grinffin size 3 silk cord, it is a perfect match."

"These pearls are drilled in just the right place, not too close to the top. They combine so well with the pearls drilled the long way as they are the same shape and size."
