"These are lovely, lustrous button pearls, very uniform in size. It looks like nearly all are perfectly usable, which is unusual for any strand of pearls. I got these on an excellent sale so the price was right.
I have to say, though, whoever at Artbeads recommends stringing these pearls (or any pearls) onto silk ribbon has never tried it! As most beaders know, pearl holes are tiny, and there's no way ribbon is going through those holes! You'd probably ruin the pearls if you tried to drill out the hole large enough for ribbon. So please, if you want to use ribbon, dangle the pearls from the ribbon with headpins, or sew the pearls onto the ribbon."
