Murano Glass Curved Diamond Pendant - Multi-Color Millifiori
This multi-color Millefiori curved diamond pendant has a floral design with colors ranging from oranges and reds to greens and blues. It features a large hole at the top. To create this pendant, the artist cut thin multi-colored glass rods into tiny circles that displayed a pattern. He added these circles into a diamond design, fused them together and shaped the diamond into a curve. Each pendant is handmade and the exact pattern will vary according to the artist's wishes. "I wire wrapped the above piece in sterling silver with rosettes around the bail. I elected not to use a chain through the hole already there. I plan to donate the piece to the Sisters of Mercy Christmas Bazaar. This Bazaar is their only means of support."
