Prettier Than The Picture

"Because the bead is more translucent than it appears in the picture, it's colors are light and airy appearing. On my monitor, the green looks like pea soup, and the stripes look kind of mauvey. Actually, the colors are light green and light red. The bead is light in weight, so it could be used for earrings, but I like it best for a necklace. Very pretty, a sophisticated and unusual color combination."

Cons: fragile only in the overactive setting.
Creation: will make earrings
"The bead isn't. on my mind, as described. I don't see the ruby stripes -- the bead is citrine and the stripes appear to me to be gold. They are lovely beads that I plan to turn into earrings to go with something else I've made. High quality, they look fragile but aren't really, and I recommend them for use in a necklace and earrings. I'm not sure I'd trust myself to wear them in a bracelet as I'm too hard on my bracelets and, in that instance, perhaps they would be too fragile."
