UV Lamp

Use this 9watt UV lamp with Magic-Glos™ or one of our accent resins to help them set in a fraction of the natural drying time. In addition to curing your gloss and resin designs, this lamp will also help remove bubbles that can form, resulting in gorgeously consistent works of art. For best results, replace the light bulb regularly. Note: This lamp uses 110-volt electricity. Those who use this lamp outside the United States and Canada will need a converter.

"I was so glad when I finally bought this! I had been struggling with UV cured resin for weeks and could never get it right. It seemed like every time I would get a piece prepared to cure, the sun would disappear or it would rain or snow. I felt like I was bringing on the bad weather myself! The first piece I put in this light came out absolutely perfect! I believe it pays for itself just by saving me from wasting more resin!"

"If I was going to work with resins, I had to have a UV lamp. Artbeads offered the Lisa Pavelka lamp at the best price. I was really pleased to just be able to grab and go pretty quickly after I checked a few prices and availability. The lamp works like a charm. Of course, it makes curing time that much faster than leaving a piece outdoors or sitting in a windowsill. I love it. It's reliable, well made, does what its' supposed to, and it serves me well."

"The UV Lamp is the perfect tool that even improves resin work by catching and eliminating bubbles. Best of all, it works so quickly, you can move on to the rest of the project in almost no time at all. Love this great but simple idea."

"Amazingly simple to use right out of the box. I live in an area plagued by gray days. I don't want my projects waiting for the sun to pop out, nor do I want them sitting around collecting dust while I'm waiting for a sunny day. I do a lot of polymer clay baking as well. I find that I can intersperse projects, adding Magic Glos to a baked project and curing that while another tray is baking. One piece of advice--be sure to use a piece of cardboard under your project and be cautious about using too much product on the piece--it will over flow and cure on the surface of the UV Lamp and you can't get it off--at least I didn't try to get mine off for fear of damaging the lamp. I'd buy it again in heartbeat. At $35, it seems a bit pricey for what it is, but it's definitely a stock item in my jewelry supply cabinet."

"I have this lamp, In the 80's a product came on the market that allowed one to apply gels to their fingernails that imitated professionally applied acrylic nails. The gels were hardened by using this lamp. I could not use the product due to sensitivity and so the lamp has been sitting unused for years. Many times I have said "this lamp has to be good for something" and now it has a use. The cost from Artbeads is a lot less than my cost. I am so happy to put my lamp to a creative use."
