"I was looking for open jumprings that were larger than the standard 4 to 6 mm and I needed them to be at least 20 gauge or bigger. These jumprings worked very well and with the 20 gauge wire that I used in my design I think larger gauge jumprings would have overpowered the wire making it look flimsy in comparison. So this turned out to be a good match. I was also please with the construction of these jumprings as when closed their joints fit together almost seamlessly and are barely visible."
