Hill Tribe Silver Ball End Earwire (Sold by the Pair)
Note: These eawires are sold as a PAIR. This ball end earwire is handcrafted by the Hill Tribe in silver. It is one of many Thai beads and pendants that are made by the Karen Hill Tribe in northern Thailand using traditional tribal methods passed down from generation to generation. Purchasing these Thai beads helps sustain a traditional craft and provides the Karen people with a reliable source of income. The silver content in our Hill Tribes silver beads and pendants is typically 95-99%, even higher than sterling (92.5%). This higher silver content is softer and therefore easier to shape into all the unique and wonderful styles. On close inspection you will notice that no two pieces are exactly alike, attesting to the handmade nature of these beautiful pieces.

"I just received a pair of these Hill Tribe ear wires and have worn them for 48 hours without any reaction whatsoever. I cannot wear sterling ear wires for more than 4-5 hours without inflammation, soreness or infection in my ear lobes. What a pleasant difference! If you have sensitivity to copper, nickel, etc, then Thai/Hill Tribe silver might work for you. It has more fine silver content than sterling. Copper or nickel are combined with fine silver to make sterling silver. The copper or nickel content can cause reactions in people sensitive to those metals."

"These are nice simple ear wires. They are similar to kidney frames but with an added silver ball and an open frame design. I just love them. It's also nice they were purchased as a pair- some ear wires are sold individually which can get expensive! Great value here..."

"I made the mistake of only buying 8 and now they're sold out! They're so much better than typical earwires. They're fine silver as opposed to sterling, they're solid but not heavy. Just waiting for artbeads.com to get more stock!"
