This lovely 4mm shiny gold clam shell bead tip is a great way to finish your designs. It hides the thread, providing your bracelets or necklaces with a professional look. This bead tip hinges shut at the side. One end has a divot that will hold the thread. The other features two rings that join together when the tip is closed. "This item gives the jewelry a pro look. It works well with gold colored wire and chain. Since these are plated, i polish them very lightly. I try to keep these on hand all the time.It's easy to "hide" what I need since these clam tips have depth in these special cups."
