"Though this precious metal filled wire is not as hard and unbending as the silver filled that I ordered along with it, it is a bit on the stiff side.
I'm wondering if the base metal core, instead of being copper filled , is brass. This might tend to make it stiffer and thus less malleable.
Other than that it is a pretty color of gold, has a lustrous shine and makes for pretty jewelry.

Even though it was harder wire to work with I was very pleased with the shepherd's hook earrings that I made using this 20 gauge 1/2 hard wire."
