6mm Gold-Filled Magnetic Clasp (Mag-Lok)
Great for bracelets and light necklaces, these magnetic clasps are very powerful, self-aligning, and well manufactured (NO glue assembly). They are especially good for people who have difficulty with normal clasps. It is easy to attach to a necklace or bracelet using jump rings strung through the loop in each side of the clasp. You will be amazed by how well these hold together. NOTE: Magnetic clasps should not be used with a pacemaker. "This clasp worked wonderfully on a bracelet. A previous magnetic clasp I tried kept coming loose, but this one hasn't given way yet, and it makes fastening the bracelet a snap (literally!) Gold-filled at this price is a bonus. The spacer bars and multi-strand end pieces in the photograph are also from Artbeads."

"These clasps are great for bracelets; very strong magnets and nice size. My only recommendatiion is to add a safety chain to the jumpring on the magnetic clasp so that in te event that it opens it will not slide off your hand."

"It was nice to be able to find a magnetic clasp that is gold filled. I haven't used this for a project yet, but will soon. The only thing negative is there is not enough room at the endings to add wire guardians (protectors) . I would like to see this available in an 8mm."

"These clasps are wonderful in bracelets and lighter necklaces. Small but with strong magnets, I trust them to stay closed.
Magnet clasps are wonderful in bracelets where you must manipulate the clasp one-handed: no more fumbling with lobster or spring clasps, and they are more secure than toggles

"I have used these in a pearl necklace and matching bracelet for my mother, who is 77. She loves these clasps. She finds them so easy to use! Specially in the bracelet. I see her wearing this set all the time. It is because it is so easy!
