"Is there anything uglier than a crimp? Call in the crimp covers, but you need either the right tools and/or tiny fingers. Hard to work with but very finished look once they're on your creation."

"I wasn't aware that crimp covers existed until after I had completed my first necklace. Looking at the completed necklace, I felt that the exposed crimps gave it a sort of unfinished look, not that anyone would say that to me. Anyway, I soon thereafter came across these crimp covers and decided to give them a try. I found them difficult to get over the crimp, but this may have been because I am new with all this and had not crimped properly. The first crimp cover I tried bent crooked instead of closing nicely over the crimp. I subsequently, removed that cover and both of the crimps on my necklace, then used the instructions on the artbeads.com site for proper crimping. After that I applied the crimp covers -- found them still a little difficult to work with, but this time they closed beaufifully over the crimp and added the look of two nice round beads to my necklace in lieu of those two ugly crimps. I will definitely buy and use these again."
