"I ordered this bead several months ago, and I have to admit I haven't used it yet. It was too pretty to use in the design I had planned. The color is stunning, but it *is* hard to find another emerald shade that matches it. I have that problem with every emerald bead, though, not just this one. Finding something to go with the gold around it is much easier.

Make sure your project works with the larger hole in the bead. I've got a necklace planned, and I'll be filling the bead with Delicas to make sure it stays in place.

The quality of this bead is definitely worth the cost. It's not a fragile bead; it has no scratches, even though I've handled it frequently for months."
