Cons: Ease of Use, Quality, even free i would not bother.
"I got this just because if was very inexpensive and I needed something until I received my good calipers. I would not have bothered if I had followed my first thought, but you never know until you try. Very difficult to read (everything is semi-clear plastic) and if your used to normal calipers it is obviously awkward. I guess if someone is desperate it could be a guide for them but using a ruler is easier. The brass one maybe a better choice if you really don't want to spend any money on this tool."

"I like this lightweight caliper. It doesn't scratch your beads, which is a huge plus. I like the small size, and it's very high-quality for the price. However, it can be hard to read because it is all clear, and there is no keeping it in place when the bead moves--it's very loose. I've had trouble moving it the "right" way...maybe it's just me.
The clear part is my biggest issue with it, because it makes it hard to see. In fact, I misplaced mine. However, I like it enough to buy a new one (which I intend to use a permanent marker on!)."
