"I find the intense and rich color of the 8mm Capri Blue beads very enticing. I have put colors with Capri Blue that one would not normally think of using together which, in the case of this necklace, is the duller aventurine ovals. To intensify the Capri Blue even more, I chose the deep turquoise 6 mm fire-polished beads. Artbeads bi-color beads were added as beading got closer to the back of the neck.
. There are four beads that have the look of Oil-on-Water, as do the large beads that dangle, that pick up all the other bead colors. All of the colors are brought together with 24 K plated beads and bead caps. The sparkle of the Capri beads traps the quieter aventurine between them, which makes the eye travel up and down the necklace to see it as a whole. The total look is almost that of Egyptian; but, if not that, then it does qualify as elegant."
