With a large hole, you can pass your thread through the bead multiple times without breaking the bead. You can also count on their color being consistent time and time again. "I tried these tiny beads using brick stitch and doubled nylon beading thread. This was to see just how much stress I could put on them. They had room for the doubled thread and I was very pleased with the result.
In the beginning I was fraying the thread badly. However, when I pulled the thread through so that I wasn't puling against the edge of the bead I had no more problems.
Their size and structure was uniform.
I like these beads very much and will use them again.
