"After searching high and low for copper butterfly backs eventually I gave up and ordered these plastic ones instead. They fit snugly on both 20 and 22 gauges, very snugly on 20 gauge but they will stretch a little over time to fit perfectly on 20 gauge.
I really like the look of the plastic backs - they are unobtrusive and don't stand out against the design. I can also use them with sterling silver earrings if I make them in the future."

An inexpensive way to secure an earring

"I was very surprised at how well these hold. I had my doubts when I placed the order. Like most things I get from Artbeads, I shouldn't doubt anything at all. They just didn't look like they would really hold. When I got them I tried them and they are very comfortable and they really do hold. I probably will be ordering more in the future. They really do work."
