"I had never used this type of closure before, so I decided to give it a try. The appearance is good and stays closed very well. I do find that they are difficult to open. I thought they would be good for older people since they are secure, but now feel that anyone with arthritis or any difficulty using their hands would not benefit from this clasp. They need to be used on heavier designs. They are not appropriate for smaller or delicate pieces."

"These are great for a bracelet design since the swivel allows greater ease in fastening it yourself. Here I've made a simple bracelet, I like the "lobster claw" with the anchor very much!"
