"I made a double strand pearl bracelet with a medium sized brass connector for a focal point. Used this magnetic clasp. Wore it around the house. First time I put my hand in my pocket, the clasp let go and the bracelet fell to the floor. Within a half an hour, it had fallen off again when I opened the refrigerator door. I think it was attracted to the metal of the door. But the magnet is not strong enough to hold itself together. The design is very pretty. It is not too heavy, but not for a bracelet. I don't know about a necklace of any weight.

"This is the best magnetic clasp ever. I have bought expensive Bali Silver clasps that can't handle any weight and are therefore useless. This clasp is beautiful and a great size. Love it!!!"
