Découpage Yellow and Blue Owl Coin Bead Strand
Look whoo's looking at your designs when you use these découpage yellow and blue owl coin bead strand. Each cute little bead features a multitude of different colors in the background and a colorful, comical owl in the foreground. Découpage beads are made by gluing pieces of decorative paper to a wood casing which is then glazed to a shiny finish. Each is handmade from start to finish except the production of the wood casing, meaning there will be slight variances in appearance from one piece to the next. This strand comes with 10 beads. Try them in children's designs or as fun focals for any type of jewelry.

"I was all excited when I ordered those as I am into owls lately for some reason, and I thought that those ones looked whimsical.
When I received them however, it was a let down. Maybe my expectations were too high. I wanted to try those decoupage beads, and chose the owls. I thought whimsical, but I find that they look more like something a kid would wear.
The description says that the casing is wood but they are so light that it feels like the casing is made of plastic instead.
The decoupage paper has some misses in the color. It is not wear, but more the printing process. Nothing major to ruin the piece. I may be too much of a perfectionist.
Also the beads are smaller then I expected. I guess my conversion rate was not so good. I expected them to be around one inch wide. The are actually about 3/4 in wide. I should have figured it out by the length of the strand, the number of beads, and the white beads dividers.
Shiny glazed finish is very well done.
Decoupage paper that surrounds the beads is very well applied and you don't see the seam.
Those beads are probably just not my taste, but may be a good buy for somebody else."

Cute Beads, But ..

Cons: Price, Quality, not flawless - nicks/scraps

"These beads are really cute and unique. But I am not sure if they are worth the price or not. They are not flawless. There's minor nicks/scraps in the ones I got. Still useable but because they aren't flowless .. I can't bring up the price on my finish product because of it. So to me I'm not sure they are worth it."
