"I love this bead; I knew I had to have it the minute I saw it. But having received it, I realize that it has a serious flaw. The hole in it is vertical--from head to feet. On one hand, this is a good thing. It means you can hang it head up or (more appropriately) head down. But when I wanted to put it on a necklace, I realized the hole should really be horizontal--through the feet, for preference. I had really wanted to use it as a pendant, and while I can think of ways to do it, they all seem awkward. So while I love it, I am also disappointed with it."
