"My sister just finished writing her first book, Ivey and the Airship, and with all the hard work and effort she put into it, I decided to make her a special necklace to celebrate her achievement. I wanted to put a miniature picture of her "work in progress" book jacket design as the centerpiece of the necklace, and then use beads and other charms to symbolize characters/elements of her book (which can be described as a fantasy novel in the Steampunk genre). This was the perfect centerpiece. I might add that this was my first endeavor in jewelry making (apart from a course in college a lifetime ago), but I had a blast and am quite pleased with the overall result! I was worried about getting the resin right, but it was super easy to use."
"This pendant is quite attractive but very lightweight. Perhaps I should have picked up on the phrase in the description "lightweight design, ideal for paper crafts. This is far more suitable for a greeting card than in a piece of jewelry. Considering the price, I expected a more substantial piece."
