"This is my favorite bail. It's a beautiful, rich gold color and looks classy. I think it's all brass, rather than brass-plated something-or-other. I feel that this bail gives my pendants a very high quality look at a small cost. The only caveat is that it becomes work-hardened quickly, so rather than taking it on and off when composing a piece, it's helpful to just hold it up to the pendant. Even hardened, I can get it to close with a few careful whacks with a rubber mallet. And when I use it with very thin pendant, I simply cut and file the posts to shorten them."
