"The color of this pendant exactly matches the very dark indigo blue on my computer screen. It isn't opaque, just a very dark, rich blue.

Swarovski always makes quality products, and this pendant is no exception. It isn't large enough, however, to be a sole pendant on a necklace with a clasp. If it were on illusion thread, and long enough to go over your head, it would work. I put it on a bail, over beading wire, and used a metal clasp; the weight of the bead wasn't enough to counterbalance the clasp. I'll go back to my original intention, which was to string several shapes of small blue "pendants" (denim blue, dark indigo, and crystal silver are my current picks) onto headpins, and attach them to lightweight gunmetal chain. I'm thinking I'll use an extra strand in the front and probably some bicones to connect the two.

I'm also planning on making a set of earrings with these pendants--they really are stunning."
