"I don't know if it's just this particular color, but these look absolutely nothing like pearls in any way. They do not have an "off white color that shimmers with light like a classic pearl." They don't shimmer. There is no pearlescence. They are also glossy, not matte like a pearl should be. They look like plain old glass beads, and at Swarovski prices, that's not acceptable.
Aside from that, the shape is very uneven, so they don't even look like quality beads. The crystal underneath appears to be ridged, so the coating is thicker in places. The bead holes are also unusually small, so they don't fit well on regular head pins.
All in all, a HUGE disappointment for someone who expected so much better from Swarovski."
