We have contacted our supplier about this product, and they have advised us that this item features uneven facets, which makes the hole appear to be off center and lie flat/uneven. The facets are purposely uneven, and the item was not meant to be strung with other like-kind beads or to be strung to lie or hang sideways. Ideally they are to be used with a round bead that fits into the cavity that is to be hung from top to bottom.
