"These bicones are fine EXCEPT if you're looking for transparent color, you will be disappointed. These garnets are so dark, they look almost black. I don't like the look, myself - they look a bit cheap. But if you want a very dark bicone in a dark ruby color, it's ok."

"Using these crystals in a puffy rectangle pendant. They look real red in some light and much darker in other light -- strange how they change, but it's fine. Would certainly buy them again."

"I made a memory wire bracelet wrapping around twice. It is for a friend who just had a baby in January - birthstone: garnet. It turned out so beautiful. Either she isn't getting it or I will have to make another one for myself. The color is a hundred times better in person! I only used some small silver spacers for the color to bounce off. Anyone who buys these will feel they got everything they paid for and more!"

"I love the beautiful deep red color of the garnet crystals! But note, the new Xilion garnet crystal is a darker color than the 5301 garnet crystal, so, you will not be able to mix them without notice."
