"I knew this before I purchased these, but if you've never seen Swarovski Amethyst crystals before the picture above isn't really the colour you're going to get. (Of course, monitors differ). Amethyst is solidly on the red end of the purple spectrum. If you're looking for a bluer purple try Tanzanite, or Purple Velvet is a good purple purple. These wee little guys are beautiful, and fit best on 22g wire. I managed to get a couple on 20g headpins, but that was iffy."
