Pros: Versatile, Unique, Ease of Use, Quality, Color
Cons: Price
Other beading styles or techniques: Stringing
"These beads intrigued me, but they seemed too expensive for the size. I've never used the square beads, the light silk is new to me, and they cost a lot more than my standard beads. I bought a couple of them, anyway, and I'm enthralled.
The light silk shade has just a hint of color and the shade is neutral--think of a good champagne. Because it is an actual neutral (there aren't many), it can be used in every color palette. It can tone it down, spark it up, or just be there. I like it--so far--with rose gold and black, which makes a very classy look.
The cut of this bead is amazing. It is so simple--6mm square--but immediately brought to mind every elegant piece of jewelry, every vibrant era... . I'm planning to use these as pieces in a pearl necklace, a flapper necklace, and a "go-to" bracelet.
The price is a little high, but it is worth it. ArtBeads has a lower price than most, and I like their service."
